Your first day

The first time you open the studio, your home screen shows three steps. Together they take a few minutes, and the first one matters most: bringing in your Google reviews, so everything that follows starts from how patients actually see you.

The three steps

  1. Import your Google reviews. On the home screen, paste your practice’s Google Maps listing link and press Import my reviews (4 credits — see how credits work). To find the link, search for your practice on Google Maps, tap Share, and copy whatever link Google gives you. In about a minute your reviews, rating, and photos arrive, and the card becomes your practice snapshot.
  2. Add the practices patients compare you with. Add a competitor — the clinics nearby, or the big names patients mention — and the studio watches their posts, reviews, prices, and promotions for you.
  3. Draft your first post. Open the Composer and draft a post in your practice’s voice — the studio writes within your market’s advertising rules automatically.

Each step lights up as you complete it. Once all three are done, the home screen becomes your practice at a glance.

Why Google comes first

Reviews and your Google listing are how new patients actually find a dentist: nearly half of patients pick their practice by its reviews, and the practices at the top of the map results take most of the calls. Photos and posts matter, but they build on that base — so your first step isn’t writing content, it’s seeing exactly where your reviews stand today. Everything you do next has a clear starting picture.

What your snapshot tells you

  • Your Google rating. New-patient calls cluster at practices rated 4.7 stars and up, so the snapshot shows how close you are.
  • Your review count — and how recent the newest one is. Most patients won’t consider a practice whose newest review is more than three months old. If yours is, the snapshot shows a warning.
  • How often you reply to reviews. Patients read your answers too, so your reply rate sits right beside your rating.

Your snapshot refreshes whenever you re-sync under Connections.

  • Connections — re-sync your reviews any time, and import your Instagram and Facebook posts too.
  • Competitors — the watch list behind step two.
  • Composer — where your first post takes shape.
