Competitor TikTok — their views, formats, and the sounds they ride

TikTok is where reach hides in plain sight: a video can rack up huge views with only a few likes and still have travelled far. The TikTok section reads a competing practice’s recent videos so you see what actually reached, the formats they lean on, and the sounds they’re riding — the things Instagram and Facebook never show you.

How to use it

Add a competitor by their TikTok @username (the Add a competitor card → TikTok), or open any competitor you already track and link their TikTok on the TikTok tab. The app pulls their recent videos and refreshes them weekly.

Each video card shows its views and likes; tap one to open it on TikTok (videos can’t play inside the app). The TikTok insight card is the AI read: how often they post, the video formats that work for them, the sounds they ride, and the openings their feed leaves for you. Use Show 50 more from TikTok to pull deeper into their back catalogue.

Worked example

Bangkok Smile posts three whitening and new-smile videos a week, almost all riding the same trending sound, and their before-and-after reveals consistently clear 100k views. The insight card flags it: that reveal format plus that sound are their engine. Dr. Nok plans her own short reveal series in the Composer — using a genuine before-and-after with patient consent on file — in her practice’s calmer, reassuring voice.

  • Competitors — add a practice and link its TikTok.
  • Combined strategy — folds TikTok into the cross-channel read that ends with your move.
