Approvals — sign-off before anything goes out

Some posts deserve a second pair of eyes — especially anything clinical. The approval flow lets anyone who drafts content send it to the practice owner for sign-off, right from the calendar.

How it works

  1. On the calendar’s drafts strip, press Request approval on a draft.
  2. The post moves to the Awaiting approval strip. The owner reviews it there and presses Approve — or Send back with a note.
  3. Approved posts return to drafts wearing an Approved ✓ badge, ready to schedule. Sent-back posts show the note so the author can fix and resend.

Approving also re-checks patient permissions — a post whose photo lacks consent can’t be approved, let alone published.

Markets with government ad approval

In some countries — Thailand is one — every advertisement, including a social post, must be approved by the authorities before it can be published. The studio knows this from your market profile and enforces it:

  1. Scheduling an unapproved post is blocked with an explanation.
  2. When the owner approves a post, it moves to Awaiting government approval instead of back to drafts.
  3. Once the official approval arrives, press Record approval and enter the reference number. The post returns to drafts marked Approved ✓ · Gov ✓ — and only then can it be scheduled.
Why the studio is strict about this

In pre-approval markets the penalty for publishing an unapproved clinic advert is real — enforcement has reached not just clinics but their agencies. Keeping the approval reference on the post gives you the paper trail in one place.

Worked example

The Bangkok clinic’s front desk drafts a post about a new scanner and presses Request approval. The owner reviews it over coffee, approves, and the post slides into the government queue. Two weeks later the approval letter arrives; the manager presses Record approval, types the reference, and schedules the post for Monday morning.
